WHAT IS BAJA EUROPE?
- It’s a compact, intense event held over a long weekend.
- It will be a meeting point for all vehicle classes separated in starting groups.
- The event will be non-FIA, similar to Rallye Breslau and Fenix Rally.
- Testing and training opportunities for upcoming FIA European Bajas and Rallye Breslau.
- Family-friendly event with activities for spectators.
- Guided tours give enthusiasts with standard off-road vehicles the chance to explore the iconic tracks of the Rallye Breslau.
UNIQUE FEATURES OF BAJA EUROPE
- No need for sporting license or FIA/FIM passport.
- Vehicles must meet safety and technical standards of RBI Sport.
- Participants will be divided into two starting groups with own schedule and route variation:
- Group 1: ENDURO and ATV
- Group 2: SSV, CARS and TRUCKS.
- Enduro and ATV will compete separately from the SSV, Cars and Trucks.
- This format prioritizes safety and prevents sharing of race information between groups.
ROAD BOOK AND NAVIGATION
Baja Europe will be a roadbook event. Participants will navigate using both traditional roadbooks and the latest GPS technology according to their class.
SSV, Cars and Trucks
will use the IRIS digital roadbook and GPS navigation system.
Enduro and ATV
will use a combination of a paper roadbook and the IRIS MINI navigation device, which is a perfect mix of both worlds.
REMOTE REFUELING ZONES
- Refueling points will be available along the route, just like in major events.
- Vehicles with smaller fuel tanks, such as side-by-sides, will have access to these points and can complete the stages without running out of fuel.
- The refueling will follow neutralization rules, similar to large rally events, ensuring smooth transitions.
EVENT LOCATION
Baja Europe will be held in Żagań, Poland.
- Żagań is near the German border, centrally located for participants from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and the Baltic countries.
- The location offers easy access via highways and is ideal for motorsport events.
- The city is known for its challenging terrain and iconic routes from the Rallye Breslau.
- This is a perfect location for off-road racing with historical significance in motorsport.
BIVOUAC
We want to open the doors to all off-road enthusiasts, whether they are competitors or simply passionate about off-roading.
- A large bivouac (over 15 hectares) will be set up for participants and their families to camp.
- For families, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a long weekend together.
- Baja Europe will have activities for all ages, from spectators to competitors.
- Throughout the event, there will be a special Food Corner where you can buy food and drinks. There you can share nice moments with your friends during the weekend.
- Self-catering is also an option—people can cook at the bivouac.
